JEAN RAMSEY

President and CEO

With more than 25 years in community banking, Jean has extensive experience in bank operations, financial accounting and data processing.  She graduated from the University of Georgia in 1972 with a Bachelor of Business Administration and continued her education at Louisiana State University’s Graduate School of Banking, graduating in 1985, and serving there as a faculty member from 1989-1992.  She attended the American Bankers Association (ABA) National Commercial Lending School at Vanderbilt University; the ABA National Compliance School at the University of Oklahoma; and The Tennessee School of Banking at Vanderbilt University.

Previously Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at First National Bank in Manchester TN, Jean provided supervision for the installation of an in-house processing system, and was responsible for operations, accounting, funds management, regulatory reporting, and compliance for all bank functions. At Fi-DATA, Jean works toward planning the future direction of the company as related to new product and service offerings, promotion, and business development.

As a long-time community banker, Jean remembers “when only the large, regional banks had the greatest technology available to them.  The most exciting thing about our business is offering community banks state of the art technology.  We want to help our clients compete with those large institutions.”
