Fi-DATA Completes Move to New Corporate Headquarters
FRANKLIN - May 26, 2008- Fi-DATA, a leading provider of outsourced data processing for community banks, announced today the completion of its Franklin office relocation to the 201 Jordan Road in Franklin. About 50 emplooccupy the firm's new space, that offers a state of the art work environment designed to enhance the company's technical infrastructure, as well as improve Fi-DATA's service levels. "The design of our new office space fits the corporate structure of Fi-DATA and will benefit our clients as well as our employees," said Jean Ramsey , President and CEO of Fi-DATA. "The space offers room for growth and flexibility which allows us to respond to ever-changing demands in the delivery of services to our clients." In fact, the move of the datacenter occured on Saturday, May 24th, with limited interruption experienced by Fi-DATA's clients. Fi-DATA was able to restore all services within approximately 24 hours. "We spent hundreds, if not thousands, of hours planning this move. We took the move very serious, and our people dedicated themselves to making this move as smooth as possible for our client institutions," said Ramsey. Another major contributor to the success of the move was the strategic decision to deploy vitrual server technology. This technology allowed Fi-DATA to recover the companies more than 100 virtual servers by simply making a snapshot of the servers after the close of business on Friday, May 23rd.
